Special studio (with sea view)
The superior studio does not belong in the same complex of Naxos Evilion, but is located on the top of a beautiful hillside called Grotta in Naxos. It is a quiet and peaceful area which is famous for its spectacular views and is located within 300 meters from the port and the city center. It is fully equipped and decorated with Cycladic furniture and can accommodate for 2-4 people. It offers daily housekeeping, air conditioning, tv, wi-fi, fridge, cooker, electric iron, hair dryer and a safe. Other benefits offered is information on all the attractions of Naxos, transportation to and from the port, and any other assistance that may be required. The superior studio has a private terrace of 70 sq m overlooking breathtaking views. On your right hand side you can enjoy the spectacular view of the endless blue waters of the Aegean Sea and the beautiful sunset overlooking the mountains of other islands. Directly opposite the room you can admire the unique Venetian castle the old town of naxos and the magnificent sight of Portara (the marble ruins of the Apollo temple) which is the registered trademark of Naxos. On your left hand side you have the breath taking view of some of the old traditional villages in Naxos as well as the view of the largest mountain in the Cyclades called Zeus. 100 Meters from the apartment you can find a super market (for your daily needs) and a bus stop. Within 300 meters you can walk through the cobbled traditional streets of Naxos as well as to the city centre where you can find taverns, restaurants, cafes and bars. Area Information
Naxos is the biggest and most fertile island of the Cyclades. Its rich geographical relief has created dramatic changes of scenery. High mountains, fertile valleys, plateaus, springs, rivers, caves, huge beaches, sand dunes with cedar trees growing on them, all existing harmoniously on this small piece of earth.
Travel Information
The best beach of the island is only 4 minutes walk. Naxos Town's main square is also only 4 minutes walk. The port of Naxos is 8 minutes walk. Just 40 metres away from the Studios, Randevouz Cafe has all delicious bakery and candy store goodies, for a snack, coffee or a sweet. The bus stop for the route to the southern beaches is only 40 metres from our accommodation. The bus stop for the routes to mainland Naxos is only 200 metres away and makes our accommodation an ideal starting place to explore and enjoy the island. For the movies fans, an outdoors cinema is located just 50 metres away from Naxos Evilion. Mini market is also located 30 metres away.

Nice for outside breakfast and evening view, if not too windy. Daily cleaning. Dining in Naxos is good and reasonable compared to Mykonos/Santorini so we used the kitchen only for breakfast. Good mattress but springs can be felt lying on the side. In October parking the car was easy at the house and in town, so we drove also into town. Be aware that by foot it's a quite strenuous walk up from the port through a not exciting part of town. Very friendly and helpful owner Nektarios, fetches and brings you to the port. | 5 |
